A popular Somali Tiktoker Bilal Bulshaawi was shot and injured in Mogadishu. Witnesses said armed men with pistols were involved in the crime. A well wisher rushed him to the hospital after the shooting where he is now receiving treatment.
Initial reports say the self declared “President of Tik Tok” was shot in the head and he is now responding well to medicine. Security agencies have not yet disclosed further details regarding the crime and no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
In recent months, Bilal Bulshawi who has One Million followers on his Tik Tok account has been soliciting funds for the people severely affected by the drought in Somalia. Many social media users took to social media to pay their best wishes to the self declared president of Tiktok.
