Kenya’s President William Ruto is expected to attend the National Launch of Safaricom in Ethiopia at the Friendship Square in Addis Ababa.
The Head of State has been invited to the event as a guest of honor, along with his counterpart, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed.
Safaricom PLC CEO Peter Ndegwa, Safaricom Ethiopia CEO Anwar Soussa, and Safaricom Ethiopia chairman Michael Joseph will also be present.
The event is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m.
