Somalia and Ethiopia to enhance flights and aviation sector

Somalia Minister of Transport and Aviation Duran Farah sat down with Ethiopia ambassador to Somalia Abdifatah Abdullahi Hassan where they discussed cooperation between the two countries notably the transport and aviation sector.

In the meeting, the two also deliberated on the importance of enhancing flights and stepping up the work of the aviation agencies of the two countries. The minister of transport and aviation highlighted the significance of the corporation between these two neighboring countries to the region.

The two sides did not give much details on the specific agreements reached in the meeting but said it ended with progress results. Ethiopia is one of the countries that trains Somali aviation teams.
