The Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia, Salah Ahmed Jama has visited the camps where the people affected by the heavy rains in Mogadishu live. He instructed the National Disaster Management Agency to immediately extend help to the victims, and called on the Somali community to do their part in helping their fellow Somalis.
He also visited some of the Water Works of the capital, where at that time the Banadir Regional Government was carrying out water harvesting operations, and he highlighted their important role.
The Deputy Prime Minister was accompanied by members of the Council of Ministers, the Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu and the Chief of Police.
