Somalia Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdisaid Muse Ali, held a phone conversation with his Venezuelan counterpart, Felix Plasencia.
According to the Somalia foreign affairs minister, the conversation centred on enhancing bilateral relations including exploring economic cooperation and on upcoming multilateral engagements.
Somalia’s Foreign Minister reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to work with Venezuela to advance the economic development and prosperity of Somalia and Venezuela.
Minister Felix Plasencia said he discussed with his counterpart various options for establishing alliances in economic matters between the two countries. Analysts explained the move as a stepforward for the two countries to boost their diplomatic and trade relations.
