Somalia government officials arrives in Harardhere District in Mudug region

Somalia government officials consisting of MPs and federal ministers arrived in Harardhere District in Mudug region, the visit was to encourage the ongoing operations in Mudug and Galgaduud regions to the liberation of the Al-Shabaab group.

The government officials was received and welcomed by state ministers, the deputy governor of Mudug region and other state officials. The delegation went to the cities of Wisil, Hobyo, Harardhere while inspecting the army stations and the community centers of the city.

Earlier this year, the Haradhere district in the Mudug region was liberated from al Shabab militants, one of the group’s main stronghold, al Shabab militants have withdrawn from territory it has controlled for years, The army liberated 10 villages in Gal-Mudug state from Alshabab.
