The Minister of Environment and Climate Change of the Federal Government of Somalia, Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi has met with her Qatari counterpart Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani in Doha.
According to Somalia state owned media, the duo discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two ministries, which will provide new opportunities to put an end to the effects of climate change and reduce the recurrence of the issue.
Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi extended gratitude to her counterpart for the warm reception at the headquarters of his ministry and the valuable briefing on Qatar’s experiences in the field of environment and climate change.
