The Speaker of Somalia house of representatives, Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe) received in his office the Ambassador of Italy to Somalia, Alberto Vecchi. The speaker was accompanied by other government officials during the meeting.
The duo discussed the longstanding relationship between Somalia and Italy. The Italian Ambassador conveyed a message from the Italian Parliament to the Speaker on cooperation between the two houses, and he assured the speaker that his country will assist Somalia in Debt Relief and the important laws required from the Parliament of Somalia.
Sheikh Adan Madobe extended gratitude to the government and the people of Italy for their support and their role in the fight against terrorism and Debt Relief as the Somalia government is seeking debt relief from the international community.
