The police officers of Banadir region have confirmed the arrest of a group of gangsters who drove a car stolen from civilians, near the Eng Yarisow Stadium in Abdicasis district of Banadir region.
The police stated that they had information about the robbers and with the support of the locals, arrested the suspects while they were on the run in the Garas Baaley area of Mogadishu airport.
The group consisted of five men armed with AK47 guns stopped the car at the Ex control intersection, where they searched the people in the car, took all the phones they were carrying, and then let the people out of the car.
The police commander chief of Banadir region Stated that the armed men are now in the hands of the security forces, and promised to bring them before court to face charges against them.
