The Prime minister of Somalia Hamse Abdi Barre and a delegation he led arrived in Djibouti on Tuesday after he received an official invitation from his counterpart Abdulkadir Kamil Mohamed. According to the Prime minister’s office, he will be engaging in talks with top officials during his stay in Djibouti.
Officials of the two countries will focus on wide range issues including strengthening the relationship between Somalia and Djibouti. The pair are expected to discuss security issues as Djibouti is among the regional countries that contributed to the ATMIS.
This marks the third foreign trip by Prime minister Hamse Abdi Barre since he was appointed as Prime minister in June this year. He previously made similar trips to Ethiopia and Tunisia where he attended grand conferences.
