UN envoy to Somalia James Swan leading a delegation has today arrived Jowhar the capital administrative of HirShabelle state of Somalia
HirShabelle President Ahmed Waare, Vice President and other officials from the administration has highly welcomed the United Nations Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Somalia at the airport and later escorted to HirShabelle presidential palace.
James Swan held talks with HirShabelle leaders and discussed strengthening the co-operation between the United Nations Mission in Somalia and the Hirshabelle administration.
James Swan’s visit to Hirshabelle is his third trip to the states, as he travelled to Puntland and Jubbaland state governments and discussed several issues.
