Hargeisa– on ninth of this month, Galkay Aways Osman Abdi, spree killed five people in Zone Sheikh Ibrahim, a IDP camp. the five victims included the husband of his ex-wife, and her father, and three other persons.
What motivated the killer to this heinous crime isn’t yet clear, in Somalia, random mass killings often triggered by feud, dispute of land inheritance or other properties, and envy.
The police officers didn’t tell whether he would be executed or the matter be relegated to the two tribes to solve. so far, no further details emerged from this tragedy which many Somalis get used to it.
