KSRelief Inspects Projects in Somalia

A specialized team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) visited Mogadishu to inspect its projects, which are being implemented according to international standards.

The team monitored the implementation stages of a dialysis center funded by KSRelief, the first of its kind in the Somali capital, to treat kidney-failure patients for free.

The team also inspected a center charged with establishing and equipping a dialysis center in Garoowe, capital of the Puntland region.
The team then met Puntland’s president, who expressed his appreciation for the Kingdom’s support.

The team examined a water and environmental sanitation project for central Somalia and Puntland, aimed at fighting desertification.

KSRelief is active in 42 countries on four continents through 695 humanitarian and relief projects.

In Jordan, KSRelief medical and therapeutic clinics in the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees received 932 patients in February.

In Yemen, KSRelief distributed 1,400 food baskets weighing 104 tons in the governorates of Ma’rib and Hodeidah, benefiting 11,400 people, as part of a project to distribute 102,170 food baskets in nine governorates.
