Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo hosted a dinner for various authors in Mogadishu on Wednesday and praised the role they can play in protecting the language, Somali culture and history.
The President applauded the organizers of this annual event and participants to intensify their efforts to preserve and record the events of the country, good and bad so that they can be a reminder for generations to come.
President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo also urged Somali writers and contributors to take part in raising the awareness of the Somali people in government and the role they play in rebuilding the country.
