President Abdirahman Irro Welcomes International Delegation Led by PLO Lumumba Foundation

His Excellency, President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Irro), yesterday received a high-level international delegation led by the PLO Lumumba Foundation at the Presidential Palace.

The delegation brought together representatives from Africa, Asia, Europe, and the United States, including participants from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Qatar, China, India, Austria, and the USA, among other nations.

During the discussions, President Irro highlighted Somaliland’s strong commitment to attracting strategic investment that can unlock the country’s vast untapped potential. He underscored opportunities in energy, production, natural resources, and infrastructure—sectors he described as key drivers of economic growth, job creation, and sustainable development.

The President also emphasized Somaliland’s long-standing record of peace, stability, good governance, and democratic values, which he said make the country a reliable partner and a favorable destination for responsible investment.

The visiting delegation expressed deep appreciation for the President’s warm welcome and meaningful dialogue. They pledged to further explore Somaliland’s investment opportunities and praised the nation’s stability and governance as valuable assets for international cooperation.
