The Minister of finance of Somalia, Bihi Iman Egeh has participated in the 18th Horn of Africa Initiative Ministerial meeting which was held in Ethiopia to discuss the promotion and economic cooperation among the Horn of Africa countries, starting with the flow of private businesses.
The Minister who delivered a keynote speech at the event discussed the importance of investment in borderland communities and the private sector’s role in financing cross-border projects.
Also, he emphasized that Somalia is key to regional integration, trade, and investment, underlining the significance of the meeting for Somalia and the implementation of the integration plans with the Horn countries.
Members of the meeting profoundly acknowledged Somalia’s efforts and achievement towards debt relief and gradually increasing its economy as reported by the ministry of Somalia.
