The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abshir Omar Jama, received, in Mogadishu, the outgoing Ambassador of Kenya to the Federal Republic of Somalia, Thomas Chepkuto, marking the end of his term.
Expressing gratitude for Ambassador Chepkuto’s dedicated service throughout his term, Minister Abshir Jama conveyed his best wishes for the Ambassador’s success in future endeavors.
The farewell gathering witnessed the presence of distinguished officials, including the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Hamza Adan Haadoow.
A few days ago, a farewell event was also held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kenya for Ambassador Mohamud Ahmed Nur (Tarsan), who completed his term as the ambassador of the Federal Government of Somalia to Kenya.
