Gunfire could be heard at the main prison in Somaliland’s capital Hargeisa after inmates allegedly attacked prison guards, in a suspicious attempt for a jailbreak.
It is not yet clear whether there are casualties as a result of the incident. The Government is yet to make an official statement concerning the matter.
