Burao Mayor Leads a Clean Up Campaign in the city

Buroa’s New mayor Abbdirisaq Ibrahim Abdi on Thursday launched a special operation aimed at cleaning the city. Hundreds of people responded to his request and participated in the campaign.

The new mayor said they will continue with these campaigns until they successfully clean the city as well as beautify it. He extended his gratitude to those who responded to his call and showed patriotism.

The cleaning operation was meant to collect and clean wastes from the city. Residents in Burao magnified the move and demanded for more clean up exercises to take place.

Other major cities including Hargeisa have also carried out similar activities since last Thursday and more others are expected to follow suit.
