Hundreds of people received President Bihi in Laas’anod city

While President Muse Bihi of Somaliland continues his trip to eastern regions of Somaliland, hundreds of people received him on Monday in Laas’anod, the administrative city of the Sool region.

Bihi is expected to engage in separate meetings with the traditional elders, regional administration officials, and intellectuals. He may also launch developmental projects his administration aimed to develop the eastern region.

The office of the President did not explain whether the President will be staying in the region for a few days or if he will be back immediately. Bihi has been on an official trip in major regions from West to East and this one in Lasanod could be one of his last steps in the region before he returns to the capital, Hargeisa.
