The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi has today welcomed General Stephen Townsend, Commander of the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), the U.S. Ambassador, Larry Andre & other senior U.S. officials.
Among the issues discussed during their meeting were security partnership & deepening relations. Ambassador and Townsend later traveled to Berbera to view an airfield that U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa assessed last summer.
