Somaliland President Muse Bihi has today attended a state funeral of the late Muse Elmi Farah, who died in Hargeisa yesterday. The President extended his condolences to the family and the nation over the demise of his late Chief of Presidential guard.
President Bihi described him as a “great pillar” for Somaliland and asserted that he was a man who deserves to be remembered in their lifetime. The President also said Muse Elmi was a kind and respectful figure.
The funeral saw the attendance of hundreds of mourners who included lawmakers, opposition figures and top government officials. Many touched upon the crucial role that the late Muse Elmi Farah played in his country.
