The President of the Republic, H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi, congratulated the people of Somaliland and the Islamic Ummah in general on the occasion of Eid Fitri.
The president who joined other Muslim faithful in the observation of the compulsory two Rakat wished them a happy eid celebration.
Bihi extends his greetings to Muslims across the world with a prayer that God will grant them peace and the grace to witness the next Eid in good health, good deeds and prosperity. The President also prayed Allah for forgiveness of sins and has mercy on the dead.
On the eve of Eid, the president granted pardon to 360 inmates making it a tradition of the presidency.
