President Bihi briefed Somaliland’s international partners about the current political situation in the country during a virtual meeting. He said that the remaining three members of the national electoral commission will be completed very soon.
President Bihi noted his administration finalized key electoral procedures and will expedite the pending duties before the deadline for the election. He also said that the registration of political associations will kick start soon.
Meanwhile, the international partners pledged to extend support in implementing the elections. The Presidential and political association elections are expected to take place this year in Somaliland.
