Somaliland President Meets The central bank governor over the Money exchange rate

Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi held a meeting with the Governor of central Bank Ali ibrahim Jama (Baqdaadi) and money changers at his office. According to the presidency, the three sides deeply discussed the recent developments of the Somaliland shilling rate.

The Governor of the central bank alongside Somaliland money changers chairman updated the president on the exchange rate and assured him the exchange rate has been stable in recent months.

Officials underscored that the recently concluded house of representatives and local council election had no effect on the exchange rate. The president extended his gratitude to the central bank money changers and the major companies that deal with money service for their role in stabilizing the exchange rate.
