A reknown Mufti in Somaliland, Sheikh Muxammad Cumar Drir, has charged Muslim faithful in the country to retain the lessons Ramadan brought in order to attain piety and also to sustain the spirit of Godliness.
The cleric who addressed the mammoth pool of worshippers in Hargeisa’s main stadium said Muslim faithful should continue to live in the tenets of Islamic guidance.
The sheikh expressed excitement at the convergence of Muslims to celebrate together this year.He however warned that Muslims should not indulge in sinful acts even after Ramadan has completed.
He charged them to imbibe the lessons brought by the Holy month which emphasizes Godliness, good deeds, charity giving, compassion and abstinent from forbidden acts.
The cleric also prayed to Allah to bless Muslims generally and grant them peace across the universe
