Somaliland’s WADDANI party presidential candidate says Bihi intends to extend his term in office

The Presidential candidate of WADDANI party Abdirahman Irro who has given a keynote speech to a large number of his supporters in Buroa, said the incumbent President Muse Bihi failed to take his responsibilities as President and breaches the constitution.

Abdirahman Irro believes the reason President Bihi strongly supports the registration of new political associations is to extend his term in office and not prioritizing the constitutional Presidential election which will take place in November 2022.

The Opposition Presidential candidate clarified that his party will never accept any postponement of the Presidential election and if the President attempts to take such decisions they will not consider him as President.

Addressing his supporters, he said President Bihi has taken a path that threatens the statehood, security, the unity of the Public and freedom of Speech while citing that the Chairman of his party was summoned on issues related to his recent speech in which he alleged the President for breaching the constitution.
