Taiwan, a close ally to the Republic of Somaliland, has extended its Congratulations to Somaliland as the country celebrates its 61st anniversary of independence.
Dr Tsai Ing-wen, Taiwan’s President has sent a message of congratulations to the Government and People of the Republic of Somaliland. She extended best wishes to the Government and People of Somaliland on behalf of the Government and People of Taiwan.
In her mesaage she applauded Somaliland’s recent free and fair election and also promised to further strengthen friendly ties between Somaliland and Taiwan.
