Waddani Chairman Returns Home, Condemns Govt’s Repression Actions

Chairman of Somaliland main opposition party, Waddani, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi Irro has today returned to Hargeisa and accused Kulmiye party of several of failures.

Mr. Irro was welcomed by Waddani top officials and a large number of jubilant supporters at Egal International Airport.

Waddani leader blamed the government of its repressive actions against freedom of the press, mentioning the recent arrests of the journalists including Abdimalik Muse Oldon (Coldoon) and BulshoTV Editor.

Mr. Abdirahman Irro strongly dismissed yesterday’s election resolution/roadmap by the two parties, Kulmiye and UCID. He said that they have signed ” the death certificate” of the Somaliland democracy and that can eventually undermine the stability and sovereignty of the Republic.
