Waddani party of Somaliland has found fault with President Muse Bihi for allegedly ordering the national electoral commissioners about the sequence of the upcoming elections which has not yet reached a final agreement by the political parties.
The Press secretary of Waddani party Mohamud Jama Galaal said the president treated the 7 electrol commision members as his staff and ignored to consider them as the judges of the election. Mr, Galaal termed the move as an “intervention” of the electrol commision by the President.
The party repeated its previous accusation that the president was behind the resignation of the immediate former national election committee, an allegation Bihi and his administration denied on several occasions.
The party urged the newly appointed electrol commisoners to take the responsbilty of holding free and transpernt elections and refrain from external intervenstions to maintain the independency.
