Waddani Party Holds Talks with Regional Party Chairmen

Waddani party of Somaliland held a consultative meeting with the regional party chairmen over the selection procedure of the aspiring candidates. The meeting was chaired by the party leader Abdirahman Irro .

On Saturday, Waddani Political party of Somaliland explained the selection procedure for the aspiring candidates in the coming parliamentary and local council elections that their political party will follow to make sure the right candidates to be approved.

The Interim Chairman Abdikaidr Jirde had Previously informed all the aspiring candidates to attend a two day workshop training at the political party headquarters in Hargeisa where they will be given detailed information. The workshop will commence on 11th -13 of this month.

LastTuesday, the house of elders agreed that the country’s parliamentary and local council elections would take place on 31 May of this year as proposed by the President and the Electoral commission along with the Political parties.
