Somalis in Twin Cities Encountered A Racial Profiling

Somali businessmen in Minnesota have been engaged in gym inside a building they rented. Tom Austin, a white man entered the building said that he is a tenant and wants to know what they were doing there.

After they told him they are tenants, Tom didn’t stop his asking but said show me your office like he was a security guard or the landlord. A member of the Somalia youth began to film the event when he realized where this guy is heading.

The video went viral after they shared on social media. Finally Tom Austin, a businessman and co-tenant with Somalis in the building lost his office. He was evicted for racist line of questioning.  

This came few days after the cop’s murder of George Floyd initiated state-wide protests following a white cop’s knee on black neck suffocating him to death. Floyd was accused of passing a fake 20 dollar note to a store.
