Somaliland Government has announced that “New political organizations (parties)can be formed. A statement by the Minister of information, Suleiman Kore says that the current political parties term will expire in mid 2022. It futher adds that political organizations will qualify into three National political parties. In the year 2022, the country will hold two elections which are the presidential and the upper House elections.
