The main opposition party of Somaliland has confirmed that their Chairman of Maroodijeeh received death threats from the Police Chief of Dalloodho Police Station. The Political party has strongly condemned the move.
Hamse Esse who addressed the local media said it’s unfortunate that the Police Chief of Dalloodho Police Station threatened to kill him. He urged the Somaliland Police Chief to consider this case closely.
Other officials have also criticised this. Though the government and the security agencies of the country have not commented on this yet.
