Hargaysa—16, 09, 2018. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) began peace initiative between Addis Ababa and Asmara; both countries fought all-out wars for Badme territorial dispute. The Saudi king invited both leaders to his countries to end the hostility. Both Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Ahmed Abby and Eritrea’s President flew to Jeddah to end 30-year- war, one of the Africa’s longest and deadliest civil wars.
Some African countries have been invited to the venue of the peace initiative. An anonymous sources say Somalia has been excluded from the invitee countries. Somali government recently claimed it has taken peace endeavor between Addis Ababa and Asmara by her own.
